A joint decision has been made by the employees of Tvilum-Scanbirk to replace the company’s summer
gift with collections for charitable causes – most recently this has resulted in a sizable collection for the
victims of the Haiti earthquake. The decision was made by the employees back in 2007, and the “make
-a-difference committee” has so far donated money for toys and equipment for kindergartens and
scouts – and not least children with cancer at Skejby hospital in Aarhus, which has been given DKK
30,000 towards events for the children and their families.
